Bitless Bot = no brakes

the mud is still here. TW came up before lunch with the muscley dog and her slave. She dragged me out of the mud and tacked me up. Bitless. Hehehehe.

Through the village and down the slippy bridlepath. TW was worried she said it was grotty and I said I didn't want to trot. She said ok.

On the straight bit I changed my mind. Had a trot. TW made me turn and trot back to the the wee muscley dog and her slave. Then round again. I had a little nap. TW told me off. It was ON!!

Trot trot trot. Nice and strong. TW was impressed. Turn round. Nap. Trot trot trot. Stronger and stronger. Finally TW realised she had no brakes. Super strong trot and a cheeky canter or too. Hahahaha. TW had achey arms. The slave had jumped out of the way a few times too . I was shattered by the end. Phew. TW was impressed. The slave gave me the apples. It was all good.

Back to Bitless Bot

I'm a bit crusty and grubby at the moment. TW says I need a spring clean. Today I got to hack with frank.....but TW realised that me and frank share a girth and a bridle a bit  too late. So I ended up Bitless with a poo synthetic girth. Gah.

We had a lovely hack though, did some nice trotting and frank let me go First. Amazing. I hope the mud goes soon though.

You win some and you lose some...

TW came up early on Saturday morning which was nice. She took some photos of the hay and then attempted to catch me and Frank....oh dear. Not sure about that. Me and frank zipped off but I got caught, TW said she couldn't be bothered with rowing with frank.

I'm glad she caught me though. It was a lovely sunny day. We had a mooch to the yard and then it was tack on and off we pootled. I'm not sure when it was last just the two of us but it was lovely. I was on my best behaviour. We saw lots of dogs and birds and TW chattered away about what she hopes we will do this year. She was chatting about a place shed been recently where there are loads of lovely long trails to ride on. It sounds amazing. She also mentionned hunting! Woohoo. I had a huge smile on my face.

When I got baxk to the field Frank and Bee were still sunbathing. So I went baxk to the hay. Lovely morning.

Moving

Today we moved fields from the big field baxk to our field. It's a shame cos we won't be with the other lads but I'm still with my gang so that's all good. We had a nom at the yard for a bit while TW tatted in the field and then we went down for some hay. Well I ate hay. Frank and Bee ate a bit, ate some grass and did some mooching and ass biting. Wierdos.

We all had a canter at TW at one point which made her laugh. I then cantered off back to my hay. Nom.

The Hayman came at 11.30 and dropped off a big bale. It was huge and heavy. TW struggled a bit so I stood in front of it and blocked it for her while it was rolling. That impressed her and the Hayman I reckon.

She's started booking us on rides with lovely sport endurance....we really need to get fit.

Apples

Happy Xmas, happy new year and happy apple eating!

I know it's been a long time but TW has been a busy bee and the weather has been rather crappy which limits the iPad action in the field. I've had a few nice hacks recently, mostly accompanied by the wee muscly dog and her slave. I'm uber hairy and TW says I might need to be clipped as we have to get fit for the new endurance season ahead.

I didnt get a hack today but the muscly dogs slave fed me apples and I followed him round. The grass in the big field is nearly all gone which is rubbish.
