Three times a worrier

Woohoo three times on the trot (well not literally trotting ffs give me a chance I've only been out of the field 3 times in the last million years!!) we have had some ridden action. This means -

I have been a good lad and allowed myself to get caught
TW has some kind of brave underwear on
I have stood nicely for her to haul her butt on board

How good am I ? Today we did some riding with only a teeny bit of hay beforehand. TW says that means at the moment my guts are A-OK. We reckon the lack of grass this year has probably helped. I think that having a nice stable herd and a more relaxed TW helps muchly too tbh. And obviously I know best. I'm so pleased that we are using the leather girth again - no saddle slippage which means much less anxiety for both me and TW!

Anyhoo, today we decided that we would do a teeny bit of riding with the dawgs (and without Boblet) and TW wants them to come hacking with us eventually. The boy dog was a gob-shite as always. The new Pearl puppy was hilarious. She stood open mouthed whie TW popped on board and then went and clambered up the mud slabs - I think the wierdo was trying to make herself taller too! Lol. It didn't work. She then tried to run about and bark while me and TW were concentrating but we just threatened to run em down and they soon fecked off.  We didn't do much today , just some pottering about and a few poles but TW was chuffed with me.  I hope we manage to start hacking soon but not sure where we will go as TW doesn't like the roads near home.

twice

The whole gang were up early this morning. Hay deivery time. So we got down to nomming while the hay got stacked away nicely as Boblet was here. TW told the hay dudes how nice the hay was and how filling it was in our tums. One hay dude said that his mum's pony can't eat it as it's making him wappy. TW said she was surprised as we were all so  chilled! Pah!

Anyhoo, when they had gone TW dragged me out of the field and gave me a crappy bowl of chaff as she CBA to soak mash today. Of course I ignored it and mugged her for polos. Result. Tack on, TW on board and Boblet opening the gate. Lol. So I twatted about just enough to make Boblet walk with us up the track, pulled my head down a few times to get some grass and then decided to be a good bean. Half way down the track and the wind blew up so TW said we could go back, so I twatted about on the way just enough to scare her and then Boblet had to come back and walk with us! Ha!!

"Get off and walk him" said Boblet
"I agree" says me.

Fecking TW only says nah and starts to laugh and then made me do some wanky schooling in Polly's patch, using Polly as an obstacle to walk round ffs. Then she got Boblet to put some fecking poles down and we had to walk over them too! TBH that was most excellent. We are doing some online endurance coaching shizzle and TW says I have to be less on the forehand as it's bad for me. She's not really sure what that means but she says when my big head is tipping everything forward that's probably not the way to be. She's also been looking at that Karl dude on facebook talking about confidence shizzle and is doing random standing in her stirrups wierdness. Big lump. Whaever makes her happy I guess.

In other news the fecking horsebox is stuck in the mud which made TW mad as she wants to go out in it soon. We need some dry weather!

Floodlit

TW has been one big depressed mess for weeks now. Lord above. But thankfully she's got a bit of time off work over Chrimbo and has managed to have some zzzzzz's. So the last few days I've been giving her the eye and plenty of kisses and suggesting it's got to be time to get back at it? Nearly new year and all!

Anyhoo, we got some good feeds today and then she came back just as it started to get dark and she had got her fecking brave pants on! And a packet of polos in her pocket. Result! So I got tacked up in the dark assisted by Boblet's floodlights , sadly I had to wear the leather bridle as she couldn't see well enough to use my blue one as it gets all tangled up due to her inability to hang things up properly (feck me I sound like that nobber Boblet now!). I had my nice leather native pony girth on too - that's definitely the best option. And in exchange for an occassional polo I let TW clamber on board and we pootled about and did some stretches too. She was very pleased. Apparently I was PERFECT!!!

In other news. the Jig-meister has moved in next door to the field that will always be known as the donkey field. it was good to see him again instead of just shouting over the valley to him. He tarted about abit but we just shouted an occassional greeting and carried on eating. Mikka-moo was tempted to tart about too but I had a stern word and she behaved herself. Ha!!
