How odd

I've had another week off following my little Bucky do dah last weekend. TW came to get me and frank this morning and I was a bit unsure about being caught. I'm glad I did let her catch me thou. I had a lovely treat.

Firstly, we had some hay. NOM. That was nice. Then the odd thing happened. A lady arrived . She asked TW sme questions about me. Nosey! Then I had to go out onto the street and start walking to the field. That's fine although it was windy and I didn't want to leave frank.

Then, I had to walk back to the lady. That was confusing. I didn't understand why. Then I had to turn round and trot away. Oh my days I was really confused. Then she made me turn little circles and back up which I did nicely. The lady was laughing at me, she said it looked like I didn't know that my feet were mine! But apparently I have a nice trot. TW said that's because I think walking is dull. Hehehe.

Next, me and the lady went into the stable. She did all these funny stroking things on me. Frank was well annoyed. I think he was jealous. She checked all over me to see if I was tight or sore anywhere. Nope! I'm good Ta. She was very pleased with me I reckon. Frank was disgusted. The lady said if I seem ok then I don't need to be checked for another year. Fra Nk Lauhed  and said I'd be lucky. Not sure what he means. After that I went back to the field and we had some lovely grass TW says I can't go out with the bloodhounds on Sunday though. That made me sad.

Not sure what happened today

Today I was quite sleepy and slow I think. Frank and I went to the stables for a NOM and he went out for a little hack. Afterwards it was my turn. I was slow as I've not been out for two weeks and not been out in my own for a bit longer.

We went slowly down the bridlepath, I wanted to walk on the grass for a change, maybe my tootsies were sore. We went right at the bench and behind the hedge, had some lovely big trots. After a while we saw the YO and his doggies so we slowed right down and went past. There was a blue cost lady behind the hedge which made me jump abit. Through the hedge we went then TW suggested we could have a little trot on the edge of the stubble field. I didn't like that so much tbh.

Back on he bridlepath and we decided to have a nice canter. I've not cantered there before. It started off well but I'm not sure what happened next. Buck buck splat runnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!! Not sure if the doggies scared me or if something bit me or whether im a bit sore somewhere? TW ended up on the floor in a heap , I ran to the end of the bridlepath as fast Ian's I could then turned round to check she was ok. I could see she was moving so I carried on to eols field and stood grazing. 

Eventually TW was feeling better I think ! She caught me up and off we set back to the staBles, we found ZM and rm on the way who wanted to check we were ok. Back at the yard, TW go back on me nice and simple and we had a little walk and trot round the boring school thing. Then it was grub time and back to Bracky in the field.

3. The farrier man did my feet, I didn't enjoy it. TW gave me some cuddles

Visitors

Today I was ready to come out and play but TW said I had one more day resting. Hmmmm. Ok. We're making good progress in the great hay race , in fact we are getting a tiny bit bored of hay. So bracken told me to pee on it. Apparently that's naughty. Sorry!


Later on we had some lovely visitors from roskos family. That was lovely. I had lots of kisses and cuddles. I think I need to get some exercise soon as its or long until the next pleasure ride.

The best bed is a hay bed

I'm enjoying my week off. Not only do we have a lovely big bale of nommy hay in the field but I got to spend the night snoozing in the hay. It was like a big snuggly yummy bed. Lovely! I even found that it was possible to lie down and snooze and eat hay at the same time!! How lovely is that?

Another relaxing day today. When TW came up we were sleeping in the bottom corner in the sun. She opened the gate and we made our way out of the field for a nice sunny picnic. Later on we had an amazing delivery ...a huge bale of  hay in the field. Wow!

Am I retired?

Bracken says that we are all retired because TW is a lazy daisy. He says maybe she'll sell us all s she can just sit on her bum all day. Frankie just laughed and said Bracks a Nobber. We had lots of hay and grass today which was nice. There's been some sun and some rain. I hope I'm not going to move again, I love my friends.
