TW came on her own this morning cos the dawgs were all shattered from the weekend. She hayed us up and then took me out of the field. I came straight out. I got my own hay, had a brush and got my hooflets picked out and got half tacked up. TW was proud of me, she said I was lovely and relaxed.
Anyhoo, TW had her phone appointment while I nommed my hay and then I got the rest of my tack on and we got ready to go. Minus a few stirrups falling off and TW popped on, still nice and relaxed.
So, I walked forward then decided I was scared. The donkeys were wrestling and fecking about. I went backwards. I wiggled about. I tried my best to show I was scared. TW got scared too. We debated for ages. In the end TW sent a text message and we just sat there. Next thing teacher lady appeared on a nice grey boy. Fair enough I thought and followed them back to the road. TW laughed.
Down the road we went, me behind, side by side and my trying to get ahead. There were some proper eejits on the road today, driving too fast with rattly trailers. I wasn't bothered though. Down the road, round to the right then back to the teacher ladies yard. She popped off and we carried on. Past the big dog, through the electric gate then down the stoney drive. All on our own , nice and relaxed. Onto the road and along.
Half way along the road I stopped. And reversed. There was something bad on the right. TW turned me round and I started marching back down the road. SO we turned round again and marched back to the scary spot, I got a bit further and stopped again. So TW popped off and I had a big poo and we marched together back to our place. TW says she was so proud of me. Then she decided that maybe I could walk down the track this time on my own cos the donkeys had gone. So on the popped. Off we started. And I napped again. And again.
We went round and round and backwards and forward. I got to past the donkeys but that wasn't good enough so I got myself back to the gate! Ha! Then TW decided we should compromise and maybe I could just get back to my mounting block. We went round and round, closer and closer. So annoying!! SO I decided the best thing to do was stamp and paw on the conifers. TW was horrified! SO I did it some more. And some more. Eventually she laughed. Then when she laughed I got closer to the mounting block and off she popped. Always end of a good point.
Back in the field the girls were all flirty and squirty, I really couldnt be arsed with it. Later on in the day TW came back with the dawgs and we all had some sniffs of the new essential oils. Apart from Bracken who just ran off. We all mostly liked the bergamot and maybe the ylang ylang a bit. But mostly we liked the grass.
