Starters

It was muddy, grubby , sludgy this morning. TW was a tired bean when she arrived and just chucked us out and left us to it. Then she realised that we hadn't eaten all of our hay so she chucked that out in the field. But it was a bit shitty so we didn't bother.

Mid morning it was baltic and looked like snow. Then the sun came out. Such wierd weather. TW re-appeared mid afternoon and the first thing she did was feed us. Nom. She was very impressed that we mostly got out of her way and waited for the grub.

Then I went and stood nicely by the gate and gazed at TW while she wrestled with stirrups and saddles. It was fascinating. Then she got me out , gave me a quick brush and tacked me up. WTF? we had a few girth issues but TW says it must be the girth straps on the new saddle not my tummy. She is correct!she also says that the saddle needs checking now we are back in work. Oh feck! That's never a good sign.

Anyhoo, she tacked me up and popped on board. That was fun, she says i feel huge compared to Jezey. heheheh dafty. So when she was on I turned round as requested and then planted my feet. So TW shouted at me. So I pootled on down the bridlepath like a very good boy. TW was super pleased.

At the end we stopped and posed for a few pics and then pootled back. Well we argued back as I was a bit jiggy joggy and TW was not. I just wanted to get back to my dudes. Back at the field TW was so pleased with me that she popped off (long way down she said) and took my saddle off. and my bridle. So I ran off and tried to break into the tumeric tub. TW was not impressed.Pah!

She chucked me back in the field and then got the barn ready. Then shouted and shouted and shouted for us to come to the barn. But we couldn't. We stood nicely in the first field and waited for TW to slip and slide her way up the second field. And when she arrived we followed her nicely to the barn. And then had a big dance about while TW tried to get two ponies in the back barn and one in the front. My god she said some bad words. Bracken and Jez left the barn a few times and I stood and tried to eat both bales of hay. In the end reinforcements came and we were finally placed in the correct lobster pot. Gah!
