I've not been able to blog for a while as the munchkins have stolen the laptop to watch peppa pig. TW hasn't been hanging around too much cos the weather has been shite and she's been busy. Too busy even for us to have a day in the barn when it was pishing it down. Today we were muddy. And hungry.
She came early with the pups and I had meds and we got brekky and hay. Then we did some chilling. A bit later she came back with the munchkins. The baby munchkin seems very happy outside, I snuffled him with my nose and tried to grab his sleeve. Not sure that was allowed. The middle munchkin was feeling brave today and had a sit on Bracky and then had a tiny ride on Jez and me while Boblet held her on. Then she fed us which was lovely. Everything else is adequate. Bit dull but nowt to complain about yet.

more rain
Today we have mostly been eating cleavers. And singing in the rain. TW was up uber early and then came back in the evening to poo pick. But she said it was too soggy boggy so has left it for another day. TWgave us buckets full of clivers in the morning and then the kids picked me loads at tea time. Rusty the ginge has moved to the other side of us too which is interesting..the Sno-Po is not that impressed...

bad brack an good me
Today has been sunny, I didn't spit out my meds and I ate my brekky. We hadn't eaten all they haynets but she still chucked us a nice fresh bale on the floor. All is fine and steady in the field. The grass has started to grow a bit on the strip too so that's a bleddy bonus.
Later on in the day TW came back with Boblet and his family of munchkins. Brack was bad and has zipped under the leccy fence and was nomming all the long grass. TW was not impressed. The muesli bribe worked again. They fed us hay and cleavers and the biggest munchkin was feeling super brave and sat on Jez and ME for the first time, all on his own. He is referring to us as "his" horses....

rejection
Since TW moved the fence posts there's not been much grass to eat. When she arrived this morning we were starving, waiting for her at the gate. I spat my drugs out and kicked over my brekky with all the supplements and then ate Jezs food instead.
TW is slacking a bit at the moment and doesn't seem to have much time for doing things with us. We've decided we will give her a week more to sort it out and then we will mutiny.

softer
The new reduced size strip does not have much grass. So when TW arrived this morning we were so pleased to see her cos the hay had all gone. She fed us and filled up the nets and did the daily vaseline routine. It was another sunny day but not quite so hot but the flies were still shite.
Anyhoo, I'm only having 1 scoop of equisure at the moment cos the tubs getting low but I seem to be doing ok. Trimmer deb said i was much softer. I resisted kicking TW during the trim so that was good.

Snooze, flies and therapy
Today was a hot day with shitty flies from the start. 1/3 tube of drugs and a snooze. TW had plenty of time for riding but instead chilled in the field reading and doing jobs. It was nice and laid back. Apart form the bits where me and Jez kicked shit out of each other. We reminded her that it was important to be mindful and to breathe slowly. She needs a lot of reminding. Then me and Bee got out of the field cos it wasn't shut too properly. She got so mad she thwacked me with my leadrope. Now that wasn't very mindful was it? And it certainly made catching us a damn sight harder. Ha!!
She stayed for ages and then tootled off to see the dogs.
She wasn't gone long when she reappeared and gave me and Jez a brush. And decided that she was worried bout Jezs weight. So started.to move the fence posts to give us even less grass. Bee was faster than TW and got onto the long grass faster than a really bleddy fast thing. She was SO mad!! She stomped down the field and made three bowls of feed.. Me and Jez went flat out down the field and got to nomming. Bracky ignored her.
TW shouted and said bad words and had bad thoughts. And said bad words and shouted. Brack just grazed. After what seemed like an eternity he finally realized there was grub and he galloped flat out down the field too and she tricked him into the bare bit. Oops!!
So now we have less grass in the shelter field and the gate to the barn field is shut too. Fortunately we still have hay. Then we all did a therapy session and I was a really good boy.

more rain, mud and a snooze
So today is the first day of summer. And it's been absolutely pishing down again. The mud is swamp like and it's a chilly bean at night so we are scoffing loads of hay. TW likes that.
Today we had riding plans but the wet and the mud was not appealing. So we ate our grub and she did some nice hay nets and then bogged off. Jez is absolutely filthy!
TW came back mid afternoon and we were all still happy so she sat by the wall. And slept. Twonk. She started her training today - she went for a nice walk this evening and then had 3 beers on the way home. MvH will be entertaining....

vaseline and carrots
The weather has turned muggy buggy and the horse flies are fecking annoying. TW came up with the dawgs again this morning and they ran around while I had my drugs and brekky. There has been no nipping or chewing or grumps for a long time now it seems. I gave TW a big hug after my 1/3 tube today and she was very happy. Then we practised some nice breathing together to chill.
The plan was that we would go in the barn today but there was a nice breeze and we were fine snoozing by the wall. So we stayed out. Day 3. Not bad going. I was not fussed about by equishure today so Bee ate it.
Mid afternoon she came back with the dogs and Boblet and gave us a few hay nets and picked some poo. She have us some sticky cleavers which make her come out in lumps and bumps. Then we all had a carrot after we let her pick out our feet and do some spraying. Jez nipped her ass and got a poke! There was also something with baby wipes and Vaseline but I'm not sure I want to talk about that just yet.....we all good guys even Brack. I think he might get a course of omeprazole soon......
Anyhoo they eventually left and we went back to sleep. But then she reappeared in her tractor cos she had left her coat and phone in the field. Nob. As she was leaving I growled at Jez and scared her so she barged into TW and splatted her in the fence posts and gate. Not her best move. TW still has marks on her arms from last time Jez dis that in March!!
Did I tell you that TW and Ros the supplement queen are planning on doing man versus horse next year but running it? Now that Ros lady is super fit but TW not so much....me and Bee and Jez are going to make a plan tonight to get her fitter.

still out
It's slowly starting to dry up. I whickered when TW arrived this morning and I got 1/3 tube of omep (which i spat out) and a kiss for my trouble and then she tromped off with the three doglets to romp round the field while my drugs kicked in.
She had a big think and cos we all seemed happy and chilled she said we could stay out today and this evening if we wanted. We agreed. So we had brekky in the field, had some extra hay nets and she did some poo picking cos the field was just about dry enough for the wheelbarrow to get through the mud.
We had some kisses and scratches and then she headed off with the doglets to do some work and sort out builder men. For the first time in a long time she didn't come back a second time. That's ok as long as it doesn't become a habit....

out
So TW came early enough after writing a nasty court report. Yuck Hopefully it is her last once cos she hates em. We were just chilling in the barn when she arrived, I had my 1/4 tube of drugs and pottered into the field and the dudes followed me. All good.
TW felt bad that we had been in for 24/7 so for compensation we got out for 24/7 which was nice. And touch wood my tummy seems ok. We got grub and hay and it didnt even rain too much.
She came back in the afternoon and her and Bee did a therapy session. I shouted and shouted but she ignored me. Brack did some good shouting too. he can jump huge jumps from a stand still. Who knew that?

More rain
Firstly bracky says she can be TW (warrior not worrier) for a bit to see how she goes....it could be interesting but it might make it easier for me when I'm tapping on my laptop.
When she arrived this morning it had finally stopped raining. We were all lined up against the wall snoozing. I had my last half tube of meds and then did some nice big yawns and stretches which made her smile. It's all about the release.
Anyhoo, bee and jez had a quick cuddle with her too and then we headed into the barn super fast. We were starving and set about nomming as fast as we could. We have a 24/7 barn rest as the weather is so shitey and the field is so grubby. It's a bit dull but we have loads of hay to keep us going. TW was asking us what would make us happy today...I told her this

A warrior not a worrier
More pishy rain. We ate a whole bale of hay last night and were stood in a line waiting when PT got to us. Another 1/2 tube of omeprazole stuff and only 1/2 tube left.....my delivery from america has not arrived so she will be drug hunting tomorrow.
Anyhoo, after my meds we had a little graze up the track and practiced ground work. I mostly did very well. Afterwards I went back in the field and jez and PT had a play in the field and jez was very good too. Then it was brekky and barn time. Today we had muesli, salt, tumeric , equishure and yeast. And some nice tasty hay.
PT went off and did her thing, some work and then went to a yoga boga class with Bruce's mum. I'm very impressed. Yoga teacher lady said "be a warrior not a worrier" - PT liked that and wondered if she could be TW again? Jez likes the idea but we are waiting for Brack to decide...
When she came to let us out she was all chilled and yoga'd up. SO i showed her my best yoga move of scratching my ear with my hind foot. She was very impressed.
The rain came bucketing down all night and everywhere is flooded. Just gross.

Doing ok
Its been wet wet wet. I was a bit worried this morning that PT might not arrive in time for meds as Mr Boblet had taken her car keys to work I bet she was very very mad. But she didn't show it when she came to see us which was good. She said it was too soggy boggy for owt so we went into the barn and had some grub and settled in for the day. My rug stayed on to dry and overall PT was pleased with me. Apart from my gulping noises when i was eating. But i have to keep her on her toes.
Anyhoo, she headed home and made a plan to budget for horsey stuff. bracky was spying on her laptop again and said he's surprised she's not bankrupt lol. We know we are worth it though. Apparently Brack says she could afford to run a secret house and second husband on the money I cost her at the moment.....
She arrived late lunch time and my rug came off and we pootled off out. We are allowed the barn triangle too but tbh I would rather eat my hay. Zoe's mum came to visit this afternoon which was lovely! I stayed out of the way and did some rolling on the floor while they gossiped and ate cake and the usual shizzle.
Pt has been cancelling more rides today as she says we need to start off with ones that are near to us rather than travelling along way. i don't mind as long as we can go out soon. It proper peed it down all evening, not sure whether I should have my rug on....

grass
PT was sleepy tired today so no training for us. We didn't want to go in the barn this morning as the grass was looking tasty and the barn was scary. In the end she tempted me in with treats and the others followed...we all spooked abut a bit and then settled down to nom and snooze.
The rain was pissing down all fecking day. Super soggy boggy. When PT came back she asked if I needed my rug on cos she thought it was chilly. I agreed and nibbled her hair while she was doing it up...she eventually realised i was trying to tell her she had the straps all twisted. Nob.
Anyhoo we went out into the field and she said we could stay in the barn field too tonight as there hadn't been much sun recently. Nom. Nom.

visitors
Another early Sunday morning visit from PT today, meds and then straight into the barn. Mucky mare didn't even bother to muck out - just gave us grub and hay and said we would be out soon. Wierdo.
At 12,00 we heard a noise and she was back with a little visitor. He spied Bee in the barn and Jez lying down and then got scared and went to get his even smaller but braver sister who came to look too. They scuttled through the barn and went to wait by the gate and we came out for a quick graze and some grub.
The boy loves me best, he wants to ride me but he's scared. So he fed us all handfuls of hay instead and stroked my nose. PT said he was very brave. Bee really likes him and kept putting his head through the gate to nuzzle him. The wee girl had a sit on Jez. They all had a picnic by the school - it looked like good fun but they didn't share their grub. Me and PT had nice kisses today which was lovely.

rain you say?
Saturday morning but no lie in for us. PT arrived early and I nommed my drugs. It was drizzly. And got heavier and heavier and heavier.
PT got us field hay in nets, picked poo and sorted the barn and then sat in the car for a bit hoping the rain would stop. It didn't. Eventually she gave up, took off her soggy coat and came got me, Bee tried to get her to catch him but she wasn't having any of it. I ate some brekky tied to the gate then she towelled me off and tacked me up. My reflocked saddle felt nice.
Anyhoo, today we went to ride in half of the shelter field. We hadn't done any riding since the big fall last week but that didn't matter. We did circles and lines and walked nice and relaxed and slow. OMFG teacher ruth appeared! My head shot up and I stomped off. oops.
Today we practiced making PT sit better. She tried very hard and I was pleased. She has to do all sorts, stand up, knees down, sit properly...i think it got a bit much and eventually her brain exploded and I got to go and graze. Jez went next with no saddle. I couldn't bare to watch but it seems they did really well. No falling off. Jez is stricter with PT and makes it clear when she is not doing something properly. Jez was pooped at the end. bracky went to see if he could go next but apparently not today. Teacher Ruth called Brack a twat!! he was not impressed.
Once the lessons were over we ran to the barn for food and hay and sleeps. very nice. PT came back at 4pm , gave the mud dogs a run and then we came out of the barn for tea and mooching. Think we all did well today. Mr Boblet asked PT why she needs lessons if she can already ride...she was never gonna win that one. he concluded that she was a crap rider and that if ponies were fit they wouldn't have problems. I'd like him to ride Brack, think they would make a good pair!

feral
Another early morning med visit. No training today. PT was training herself not to be rude and practicing her slow breathing. She couldnt be arsed to get stuff sorted and wishes she had stayed in bed so she just chucked two bales of hay in the barn and made brekky. As soon as the gate was open I raced in. we aren;t allowed to graze the barn field in the morning anymore but I would rather eat grub anyway. I spent the day with bee again.
It pelted down all afternoon, proper soggy boggy. We went out had a short nibble then went into the shelter field for tea. There is something in the tea that we aren't so keen on...i think it's something in the hilton herbs stuff. so we picked at it a bit and all fell out over the nice bits.
She couldn't even be bothered to put our hay in nets this evening. Lazy arse.

Boss
Usual meds routine this this morning. Nom.
PT said it was time for a bit of work and went to get the rope halter. Brack stepped right up and said he wanted a go today. WTF? They walked up and down the track grazing. and practicing stopping and starting and brack was a good boy. me and Jez were not impressed....we galloped up and down the strip shouting and hollering but they ignored us! Teacher Ruth still thinks hes the boss.
When brack came back I was right up there ready for my go. we did similar with more stops and starts, backing up and turning on the forehand. Im getting better. I also managed a few belly lifts and back lifts too.
Then we had a mooch until it was barn time, we had tumeric today which excited me so much I kicked it all over so had to go and eat the others. I stayed with Brack in the barn today, it was roasting at 4pm when we went back out.

bowen
Usual routine was disturbed today. I had my meds and went and stood by the gate but PT got busy doing stuff. we were starving so fortunately she did field hay first. Nom.
She poo picked and tatted about and had a bareback pootle on Jez. Then we practised some ground work in the field and i was a super good boy. Off the barn we went and then I had 2 whole hours of bowen. It was tiring. I just feel so sad. And stressed. My muscles are feeling a bit better and my guts are too which is good though.
We stayed in the barn until 8pm and then out we came and had our tea with hilton herbs in it too. I need a big sleep.

hay, colours and saddles
It was roasting from the start today. PT arrived uber early as is the norm and I nommed my drugs. She tried to give me some chios gum stuff but it was rock hard so she gave up. The boswellia was gross so we didn't bother with that either. I did get a treat though. Yum.
She turned her back and got my halter, when she turned back round I was gone. Oops. So she trundled after me and got me anyway. Gah. Todays work was standing nicely for fly spray and being rubbed with the stick. I didn't like it on my right side. We did walking and stopping and backing and forwards and all was good. Then we did some lunging and I had a paddy. PT didn't even flinch and made me do it anyway. Poo! When we lunged I pretty much dissociated and just trotted round like a robot. That was not the plan so PT made me calm down and walk and focus on her. We also did walking over a raised pole. I would rather just go for a hack i think.
Jez did a bit too and then we went into the barn for the usual routine. PT came back at lunch time and was horrified that we had eaten all of the hay. Oops! She tried to chat with us but I just did a big poo and yawned alot. And made her think of the colours orange and white. I bet she googled them later. Bracky said she was disturbing us (but not in a mean way) and we all stood round her really close and tried to touch her. Jez gave her a big hug and then she went off for a session with a boy and the Snow Po.
At tea time we came out and had grub. PT asked if we wanted to chat again , I said I quite fancied making her move but she was not having any of it. meany. So we went off to graze and PT only bleddy fell asleep in the field. What a nob! Then the saddle fitter lady came and put some stuffing in my saddle to make it fit better. Apparently jezs is too narrow and too long. Oh bugger! This could get interesting....
Anyhoo PT went home and we settled down to graze in the scorching hot sun....maybe I will get a day of rest tomorrow.

Happy owniversary
4 years today I came to live with the newly named PT. Since then we have moved yards a few times (been on 5 in total), got rid of brack a few times (he always comes back), swapped one coloured cobby for another allegedly more feminine one and done loads of lovely things together, including jumping clinics, dressage comps, cross country courses, hunting and lots and lots of endurance stuff. I've spooked her off, slid her off, bucked her off and now even reared her off. It's been a good 4 years!
This morning I was super chilled when she arrived , pottered to the gate and had my drugs. Well spat quite a bit of it out tbh. Then I got my halter on and strolled to the car, had a few treats and went into the school for some work. Today we did walking and stopping , not being distracted by Jez, backing up and coming forward and turning round. I enjoyed it more today and PT said I did so well!
Jez had a go next and then even bee wanted a go - they just walked down the field stopping and starting together. When she opened the gate to the barn field instead of all rushing off to eat and get in the barn we all stayed with her. That made her chuckle.
Anyhoo, we went into the barn and ate our grub and then did a few stretches. I didn't mind my belly lifts this morning. Then off she went to do her jobs and headed home...all before 6.30am! Zzzzzzz!
When she came back I was still nice and relaxed. It was boiling hot so we just ate our tea and set about drifting about the field. The sheepies have been invading again so PT has asked if they can be fenced in a bit more. Good plan, scary little clouds!

Groundwork
PT came all ready to tame ponies this morning, 6am on a Sunday morning. WTF? Half a tube of meds down my neck and she said we couldn't go into the barn field as we had some work to do. I got my rope halter on and we practised backing up and coming forward. I did a very nice job. Then we practised a few turn on the forehand things with a poke in the hip with a sparkly stick. Yuck. I hated it :( She said it would be good for me though and that we can't just stick to things that are easy. Afterwards we practised walking side by side and stopping together. I did a nice trot over the sleeper too which was impressive.
Jez had a go next and she was keen to be a good girl. She needs to be told a bit louder to go back but can do the turning round better than me. Bee refused to play at all. PT was not surprised and told him he won't get any more treats unless he makes a small effort. mean!!
When it was barn time I did a perfect collected canter down to the barn and went straight in for grub. Nom.
We had a good day chilling and the weather was so hot. We were grateful to be in the barn. When PT arrived back I was not happy. She was stressed as Mr Boblet's new car had broken and her back was sore and she had to get home to work. She thought my tummy looked odd but couldn't work out why, I was all gassed up and very grumpy. I tried to nip her and she said that was bad and made me practice stopping and walking with her out of the barn
After tea she tried to give me a stroke but I wasn't massively happy about it. She said we could do some belly lifts but i swished my tail and stomped off. So we did some ear rubs instead. Jez is PT's best chum at the moment I'm not sure why. PT is going to start some yoga classes to see if that helps her core strength and her busy head cos she hopes that will help me. Brack and Boblet say yoga is bullshit and Boblet is going to take her climbing instead as he says thats the best thing for focusing your brain. I did say to Bee that I think she is scared of heights but apparently that's just a technicality.

sunny saturday
We all had a meeting last night to discuss what she who was formerly know as TW would be called. Bracky wondered if she should have a symbol like Prince had back in the day but tbh I thought I might find that a bit hard on my laptop. Jez thought we could just call her by her name but that;s not so much fun. In the end we decided on Pony Tamer. Because it's ironic says brack but also cos it makes her sound like a sword on Lord of the Rings. And that made us giggle. And as Brack says she is rather Hobbit like!
Anyhoo, her back is really hurting today so Mr Boblet and the fast dog came up with her early doors to poo pick and move hay. I had my meds no bother. She said we were all a bit sheepish looking but we hadn't done owt wrong. She was determined to start the pony taming strongly so told me that there was going to be a bit more respect in our relationship. I turned round and walked off and before she could say Bilbo Baggins we were all in the barn waiting for grub. She didn't want us in the barn yet though. Nevermind. Must try harder!! The fast dog got zapped on the fence and came and hid in the barn with us for a while. PT and Boblet couldn't find her anywhere.
We chilled all day, I was in with bee today which was nice. Then about 4pm she returned with all the dogs and Boblet. The played in the field while we came out for tea. She says I'm looking lovely and shiney and relaxed today. We have a railway sleeper in our field now that we have to walk over to get to the grass for hind end exercising.

RIP TW
So TW is no more....I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. But apparently there is no more worrying to be had. Bracky says we need to find her a new name but I'm not sure what that should be. Mr Boblet says she needs a big whip to sort me out so Bracky says maybe she thinks she is is a pony tamer lol....i can imagine her in a top hat and red coat. I'm not sure whether these ponies want taming. Teacher Ruth says maybe we are a wee feral gang ..not sure what that's all about?
Anyhoo, drugs came and she was determined to be assertive. Boundaries are a go go now it seems. Gah! We spent the day in bed noming and then it was back out for grub and grazing. I was a bit nippy but it might have been cos she had nuts in her pocket. Who knows. .

(S)He who shouts loudest
Teacher Ruth says when you don't get the response you want then you shout louder. I had a lesson today and it was going pretty well. TW has been practicing hard and Teacher Ruth said I was looking happy and up for it. I tried my best until we started practicing stuff to help strengthen my hind legs. It was really fucking hard. Really really fucking hard. Teacher Ruth knew I could do it and knew TW could get me to do it. Me and TW weren't so sure...the arguing started.
I tried to go backwards and forwards instead of moving round my hind end, sometimes I did it well sometimes not at all. TW felt really emotional at times and I found it hard to focus on her. We argued and debated and TW got stressed and I got frustrated. She was trying hard not to shout. So I shouted loudest - full on fuck off zorro rear, leg waving in the air like a film star. Bleddy TW went splat in her back. OMFG. Game over.
TW got really really sad. Teacher Ruth said I was being a bossy boots and needed to listen to TW. When she stopped wheezing like a bag pipe she managed to get up and get back on and we started again. But Teacher Ruth knew I thought I had won. So TW got off and she got on. Poo!! She explains things better than TW and she doesnt get stressed so that felt better. It was still so hard though. Teacher Ruth says TW needs to do more stuff in the school and let me know that she is in charge. I also need to learn to remember I have a hind end and learn to be more focused.
TW then went and had a lesson on Jez. Teacher Ruth says Bracken is the boss of the gang and I'm not as clever as I think I am. Meany. TW says she isn't going to be TW anymore either. No more worrying. That sounds good. Not sure who actually won the shouting contest?

the half tube
Today after a month of drugs I'm on half a tube instead of a full tube. Half a tube minus the bit I spat out. Plus equishure and yeast and mint and hay. Plus the hilton herbs stuff which I know is on its way. and some chios gum stuff. And some boswellia to replace the tumeric which might be bad for my tummy. I know all this cos Brack spies on TW's paypal account. I'm glad I'm having a new shed.
Anyhoo, TW was going to ride today but it was cold and crappy and she was feeling sleepy again. So she did her jobs and we came into the barn and had our brekky. Then I got my rug off and TW did some massage wobbly bits on me and some hay cob stretches as we don't do carrots. It was all good.
Then it was Jez's go...she had a quick wobble, then turned her ass on TW, flopped down and started snoring. She then showed TW that her heels were itchy, let TW scratch em and then carried on snoring. Bracky got a few wobbles too.
We had a long day in the barn which was nice and I ate a whole bale of hay to myself. It was getting dark when TW re-appeared with Mr Boblet and the dogs. We headed out for a wee graze in the barn field before skootching into the shelter field for muesli and cobs and plenty of hay.

Change of plan
I was lovely and comfy snoozing on the floor while my dudes watched over me this morning when TW arrived. I think I'm feeling better at the moment although the worms in my tummy are still making there way out and TW is hyper-sensitive to colic. She's not sure if I keep looking at my guts or if I'm just being nosey. Anyhoo I'm happier to be stroked all over at the moment and I'm marching about the field with a nice level stride. apparently this is good.
Today I was meant to be going into the vets to get ready for the re-scope thing but TW wasn't sure whether it was a good idea. She debated for ages and googled and ruminated. And decided to leave it a while and just wean me off the drugs. I didn't mind. I bet it means I get some more herby supplements though. In fact TW has arranged for me to have my own shed to put all my lotions and potions in. Fabulous!!
Another nice day was spent snoozing in the barn. Jez lies down and goes to sleep as soon as she's had her grub but I like to chill a bit first. It was cold when TW came back, she fed us and put my rug on cos it was getting wet too. Me and Jez were hoping for another little ride today but TW had to go off to buy Mr Boblet a new towing machine for my new trailer. We've all decided on some group goals too....
I'm getting fit and doing 20 miles by autumn
Jez is hunting this year
TW is finally going to get to her goal weight by October
Brack is going to start on some gut supplements and see if he can find an occasional light weight rider........
Let's see how we get on!

a good sign?
I was lying snoozing in the field with TW arrived early doors today. Jez was stood snoozing with me. Brack was not where he should be. That made TW laugh. A bit. She turned the fence off and gave me my meds and a few nuts and then tired to get him back. It was hard work. I kept trying to join him but in the end she sorted it and we all had a race down the field together. TW won. I was feeling better and that made her smile.
We did some nibbling in the bit of barn field and then went to the barn for brekky and a snooze. TW thinks its funny we still love coming in. I dont know why its so surprising its lovely in there.
She came back earlier today and we went out and back into the shelter field where Mr Boblet and the dogs were playing. We had some visitors and Bracky got to have a play. He was not that impressed. I thought it was very funny. When they went TW sent Boblet and the dogs away and said we could have a quick mooch.
Tack came and out and she realised my girth was at home as I need a smaller one. So she said she would try my fave leather one even though its loads smaller and everyone says im chunking up at the moment. and guess what? My lovely leather girth fitted me! HA!! we had a little pootle about as \TW says little and often is the way forward now. Then Jez had a go. She did NOT need a smaller girth.

grub, splat, poison
Today was another early visit from TW but no early riding. She needs to luck her ideas up. I had my drugs and a handful of hay nuts and then we all tootled into the barn field. TW was surprised that we had only eaten half a bale of hay overnight cos she thinks it looks like theres not much grass. There is a new mare near Rusty for a few days, she jumped up when she saw us but we ignored her. And waited for TW.
The barn got ready and TW gave a shout and we all ran in. Hay cobs and mint and equishure and yeasty supplements. Nom. I gobbled it all up. TW was pleased and I let her give me a nice brush. we do enjoy the days inside. Its nice and cool and comfy in the barn.
TW left us to it and then went to poo pick. She found some wormy bits in the poo which she guessed was mine. Yuck. Then she headed home.
Anyhoo, she arrived back about 4pm and let us all out and fed us. She has also started putting some licorice root in a bowl, I ate some yesterday but bracky ate it today. Then she decided we could have a pootle. Tack on , on she got and I marched up the track. She was so pleased, we even managed to unhook the gate but couldn't quite get it open so she jumped off.
There;s a lot of grass in the field. I wanted to eat it. I stood near the wall though to let her get back on but she was a bit nervous in case I moved off. I didn't move off. But she launched herself so hard she flew right over my back and landed on the floor. Splat! What a twat! I'm glad she wears that body protector. Second time lucky and we headed off.
In the field I was a bit sticky. stopping and wiggling a bit. And trying to eat grass. We got up the two fields but I didn't feel as good as I had on the track and did a wierd stampy thing which worried TW. At the top she got off and we walked back together. She thinks maybe the wormer is making me a bit sore. Back on the track I ate a load of oak leaves, That worried her some more. But then I scoffed hawthorn and cleaver and she preferred that. She has my muscles seem lovely and soft but my tummy is still not quite right. Plus she thinks I'm walking a bit wierd on my front feet. I'm not sure if I am though. But I know she went home and bought some more supplements and feed.

cider, worms and sunshine
It's been a quiet sort of few days but some stuff has happened. Wierd hey!
TW had noticed that I was getting dull looking and I'm not quite so happy to be touched after I've been outside on grass all night. So there have been changes. The copra has gone and the hay cobs are back. The gate to the barn field is shut at night now so we are just on half of the shelter field which is not very grassy at all. And we are staying in the barn for longer during the day.
I've also started on some new supplement which trimmer deb recommends - it's yeasty stuff for poorly tummies. It absolutely stinks. Like really cheap cider.
After 3 days on the cobs and two days on the stinky stuff TW said i was looking healthier and shinier and very occasionally she thinks I might be moving better in the field. On Friday she did the worm thing in the barn before turn out. It was the most disgusting wormer i think I have ever tasted (equest) and although I tried to be a good boy alot ended up on the floor i reckon. Jez was not a good girl and ate even less than me. Brack - well TW gave up in the end. Poo counts will be interesting !
On Saturday Mr Boblet said he thought I was looking good in the field when TW asked him ( he does not give compliments unsolicited lol). I followed TW to the gate and asked her for a kiss too. I hope that this new routine works.

Wierd
Today TW had a plan to get me feeling better. She came up nice and early and I ran over for my meds cos I want to get better too. She put extra hay in the barn and we had hay nuts for brekky not copra. Then TW rushed off leaving us chilling with our extra hay.
I'm not sure what happened next but somehow the partition in the barn came undone and Jez got in with me. And the main gate was undone to so when I grumped at jez for getting in my barn bit she got out. And couldnt get back in. She spent the whole day wandering in and out of the barn while me and Bee stressed and shouted and ate some hay. We were very upset. TW was super upset when she found out at tea time and came rushing up to check us over instead of having her dinner break. She prodded my tummy and checked Jez over and gave us some more tea cos Jez had eaten the three bowls TW had left for us earlier. Not a good day. Not a happy TW. Not a good day for ulcer healing.

Visitors and busy walks
TW was up early this morning. I heard her silent scream before she was out of the car. We'd broken the fence at the end of the field and were nomming fresh grass at 90mph. It didn't last long though - she chucked my meds down my throat and booted us down the field and fixed the fence. Like grease lightening. Bad bastard.
Anyhoo, she sorted the barn and picked some poo and said I was a teeny weeny bit more sensitive than usual. And fed us grub. She screamed some more when i booted the grub all over again - oh sorry am I not actually eating my equishure? didn't you realise? Dip shit!
We all had a doze then had a gallop into the barn and dozed some more. TW said I was having a visitor but I just went to sleep. Then a trailer arrived. With a cob on it!!! OMFG not another one? TW told me not to be daft and introduced me to a nice Lady Jane and Charlie-Bear. Very nice boy. Off we went for a walk up the trail. CB was a very good lad. I decided to pretend to be not so good and did a very good impression of being a very disobedient coblet, eating what I wanted and generally dragging TW about. She was mortified. I thought she was going to get cross so I gained the sympathy vote by biting her, planting a few times , saying my feet hurt and chewing my rope. Awesome - she thought I was poorly and I got to take it easy.
At the Black rocks we had lots of strokes from some kids and TW was very proud. The cafe was shut so they couldnt get cake. Oops! On the way back we passed biked and brollies and I ate some more. It wasn't half bad. I'm looking forward to doing it again soon.
I think my sympathy vote has back fired though....we stayed in til 5pm today until farmer ted turned us out , we were all lying down asleep when he got there. brack thinks TW might go on an anti-grass protest soon. Gah!

competition
I was grazing with Jez when TW arrived today. She was good and early again - not bad on her sort of day off. we pottered down and I had my meds. One week of the first course to go! Brack wanted grub but TW went to sort the barn and bought hay back. So me and Bee got nomming and I deliberately ignored TW when she wanted to go for a hack. That was a big mistake.
Jez went out and got tacked up. I ignored her and carried on eating. They were just going for a pootle on the track TW said. Jez said " we could go up the trail if you like?". WTF? I couldn't believe it! TW agreed and off they went. I shouted and shouted and they both ignored me. This stress will not do my ulcers any good!!
Anyhoo TW and Jez went out for nearly 2 hours. They rode a bit, walked a bit and chatted a bit. Jez trusts TW more now which is nice. They had a good game when TW needed to get back on on the trail and clambered on a grassy wall. Jez climbed up too. TW got off and Jez got off. TW gave up after 3 attempts and found somewhere else to get on. She thought it was hilarious! Jez says she didn't see what the problem was. Funny girl. TW was so pleased with Jez and Jez was pleased too.
As they were coming back down through the sheep fields me and Bee started shouting. They ignored us. Jez was doing gates and all sorts. FFS! Then we all went into the barn and I mostly sulked all afternoon. When TW came back she turned us out and fed us. And decided she had time for a quick ride on me. So i led her a merry dance around the field for a bit as I didnt appreciate her rushing my grub. We had a teeny stroll about and a wincey trot and then it was rug on and out for the night. Apparently I met get a visitor tomorrow. If I'm not still sulking.

Dull
TW was meant to be spending time with us today but she decided she had to write a wanky report instead. Super rude! She also decided that instead of cuddling us she would rescue Snow Po who had escaped into the wrong field. Pah! Bad priorities. She did however manage to organise a saddle fitting appointment and do some online mooching for pressies for me.
Today we had some time in the barn which was nice and mostly chilled in the field. There was nothing much else to report.

catching up
Sorry I've not been around for a few days. The weather had been rainy again and I had to leave my laptop in the barn to stop it getting wet. But TW decided we would mostly be outside this weekend cos she's been a bit busy so my blogging was blocked!
Anyhoo, Friday we did chill in the barn for a bit and then did a lovely therapy session when the sun came out. So that was nice. The meds were still going down well and we got some more equishure and started again on the copra stuff. Nom. Muesli and coconut - very nice!
Saturday was lesson time. teacher Ruth came and fiddled with my saddle and fitted my snazzy bridle cos TW is useless. Then we had a nice lesson. TW tried very hard and I was very pleased with her. Teacher Ruth thought it was funny. The Jez had a go too. Jez is all squirty again and you can imagine what her and Bee are getting up to. I'm trying to stay out of it!
We stayed out all day Saturday and TW came up late Sunday (10.30!!) as she had been away with Mr Boblet. She looked very tired and said they had stayed in a hotel barn with noisy nob heads who were shouting all night. I was a wee bit tummy sensitive for about 5 minutes but mostly ok today which was good. We all wanted to go into the barn as it was so hot but we had little visitors at dinner time. Boblet's grandkids came to visit and gave me and jez a brush, chatted to Bee and made some hay nets and rode in wheelbarrows. They even had a tiny sit on Jez cos apparently I'm "too big". maybe next time though?
Tomorrow is Monday again - I'm hoping for some mojo returning and getting out and about.

waiting for the mojo
Bracky pants is a wierdo. He shouted when TW arrived today and trotted part way down the field. He was on the not so grass strip. Strangely enough me and the Belle were on the long grass. That's not looking quite so long now. We came out for a tube of meds and a treat each though. Jez wanted some drugs too - that made TW worry and made me chuckle.
Anyhoo she shut the gate on the long grass, took off my rug and checked my tummy. After 24 hours on long fresh grass it was mostly fine - no grumps or biting but a bit of holding on to my rug. And a few cow pat poos. TW thinks the equishure is doing a good job. We stood and stared at TW and then realised we could still get into the bottom bit of the barn field. So we pootled down and stood and had a nosey and waited for hotel barn to open.
When the barn opened we all rushed in and nommed our muesli down. I was glad to get off the grass to help my tummy and Brack was glad cos the grass was making him itchy. Jez was glad cos she got to have a nice brush from TW and we had out tails trimmed. Then we slept.
Farmer Ted let us out at 5pm , TW had left us some feed in the field so that was good and we had loads of hay nets too. She left my rug off though which was a pain cos the rain kept appearing. I hope her mojo comes back soon...at the moment she's still limping about worse than I was with my abscess. She went home to charge my garmin up though so that's a good sign I think......

The change of plans
I was meant to go for a hack today. TW came up early and I had my meds and went into the big grass field. My rug stayed on as it was chucking it down. It wasn't much cop for a hack really so we all decided that we could stay on the long grass ALL DAY. TW tried to tempt us off with feed and treats but we ignored her and eventually she gave up and just fixed the leccy fencing. She's done a wierd set up which means we have to walk about quite a bit. Unless we just stand still and stuff our faces. TW is worried about how we will be tomorrow. happy and full i reckon.

negotiation
TW was an early birdy today again but she was a bit distracted as chicky moona was a poorly lurcher girl and she had to keep one eye on her at all times. This meant I did not receive as much scrutiny as usual before breakfast. which was fine by me as I felt good. Rug off, meds down and into the grassy bit for munchies. Lovely. Then she sorted the barn and got our brekky ready (two scoops of equishure and some muesli still) and we all raced into the barn cos Bracky said so!
And we chilled in the barn all day and occasionally spied on the neighbours.
Anyhoo, it was nice to get back out again mid afternoon and had another go on the long grass before it was back on the strip for tea. I could not be arsed with my grub this evening as i wanted the grass instead. I contemplated jumping the wall but decided against it. TW wanted to give me some scratches but I walked off and scratched with Brack instead. She said I was mean and laughed so I pointed out that she was mean for not letting us stay on the long grass. She agreed. I then suggested I probably needed a new thermatex rug if we are going to be going out more. She agreed with that too. As she was leaving I asked her is she wanted a kiss. I haven't done that for about 3 years. TW was pleased.

Resting
TW limped up early today, I was pleased to see her and have her a nice whinny, had my meds and then got let into the longer grass with my dudes. No grumps, no nipping, no bother.
Bracky said TW was super stiff from her fall and that we needed to help her. So when she came to shout us for our brekky in the barn we ignored her. She walked up the field and caught me, walked me down the field and into the barn - she was so pleased with how relaxed I was. But not so happy that Jez and Bee didn't follow me in. She then walked all the way up the field and thankfully Bracky let her catch him and walk down to the barn. Jez felt bad for TW and followed him in. Hehehe poor limpy thing!
We chilled all day in the barn, nomming and snoozing. At 4pm we got back out in the long grass and then went back into the shelter field for tea and did a therapy session which was interesting. I had my rug back on too cos TW thought it was getting chilly.

Feed, falls and fabulous marking
Today is Sunday, the day of rest. TW arrived at the yard about 6am and I was lying down having a lovely snooze. That worried her, especially as I took absolutely ages to get up. However I wasn't nippy or grumpy or overly bothered about being touched when we finally met in the field. I took my drugs and had the now regular gacky medicine moustache going on.
We had our brekky and then me and Jez lined up at the gate to be let though onto the long grass. It didn't happen. Instead TW bought us more hay and said we were going out. She got all my stuff ready, water, feed, haynet, tack and then gave me another feed this time with equishure in it. 2 feeds in an hour. Bargain. as a reward I let her groom me all over with no grumps and pick out my feet and put on my fly spray. Perfect boy. The others were not impressed that I was off out!!
After some grazing down the track my bus appeared. A nice big red bus. I was very impressed, got straight on and then chilled for an hour while we drove to Thoresby. at the other end I chilled some more, nibbled some grass and even had another tiny muesli feed. TW says empty tummies are not good for ulcer boys. I could get use to this!
Tack on, TW on and off we bimbled through the car park. I could hear a noise that made me wary and as we turned the corner I had a wee spook at a man, the saddle slipped so I ran for my life. TW hit the deck right on some nice stones. So i ran a bit further onto the nice soft grass for a graze. TW was hurt. She felt like a big eejit as lots of peeps came to help her so she laughed a bit and pretended she was ok and linked back to the horsebox so the transport man could have a good giggle at her. She changed my girth, got back on and then he did it up even tighter and off we went again. This time we were more cautious. TW was nervous but we saw an old friend on a new horse with another horse and we did the first 5 minutes together and then TW let them trot off. I was a bit bothered. But not much.
Off we pootled following blue arrows and occasionally getting a bit shouty and joggy when a few horses past us. TW was getting tense but she eventually figured out the answer. Treats! So every so often I got a nice minty treat and we pootled along on a nice buckle length rein. I love Thoresby.
We followed blue arrows and then orange arrows. That stressed me out a bit cos I thought we were going wrong. Then we did red arrows in reverse. TW was unsure. This made me unsure. So I kept stopping a bit and pooing. This worried TW even more. But soon we got back on the orange and then blue arrows and we knew were correct so we pottered on.
as we started heading back I sped up a bit and did a few shouts. Right near the end I saw my old friends Raf and Tess and then the Lucy's passed us too! It was really nice to be back seeing nice people again. Before we knew it were were back at the car park and TW got off and made me muesli soup. Lush. Four feeds before lunch time! Then it was back home, TW let me take myself to the field cos she was limping so much so I kindly went and hid! Hahahah!
Anyhoo, back in the field there was still no grumpiness and I was still happy to be brushed all over. TW was super relieved. When she came back at tea time i did a nice whinny to her and guess what - she fed me again with my last lot of equishure! after 24 hours of not being stabled I was still chilled and enjoying the attention. Loving being back out!

on the tenth day of treatment....
On the tenth day of treatment TW gave to me....some thunderbrook muesli!
For a Saturday morning TW was up early. There was no red lipstick apparent so I'm guessing she had an evening in but she was still looking tired. Bracky says she needs to cut all grass and sugar out of her diet and that will help.
Anyhoo, she came up ad gave me drugs. Tried to take my rug off but I refused which confused her but then I relented and she let us all through onto the longer grass for job time. Olives's mum said this was a bad idea as there was no way we would go in the barn after sniffing the pony crack....
At first I didn't want to be touched but I didn't nip today or grab TW's clothes. She poo picked, hayed the barn, mucked out and put another bale of hay in the field nets as we had eaten quite a lot last night. Nom Nom. Then she started the brekky prep.
Bracky loves his feed at the moment and he always has one ear and one eye on TW nowadays. he spotted her emptying a bag of feed into the bin and started sidling down to the middle gate. Just in case. I noticed Jez following him a bit but tbh my pony crack was soooooo distracting! TW tried the walking through the field tactic today. It worked. As soon as she was in the field with three buckets of feed Brack was on her. I could not have that. The four of us danced our way down to the barn, TW all elbows and feed bowls and us three all teeth and bargy barginess. TW won. I was impressed. In the barn I tried to avoid the equishure feed but she swapped em round and we all settled down to nom nom our muesli, cobs and a smattering of copra and charcoal. It was so good that we were all hypnotically licking the bowl when TW left.
At 3.30pm she returned, full of McDonalds food and tired from playing with the chiddlers. Bracky says TW is gonna get lammi if she's not careful and he swears he can see her getting cresty already. Out we went into the field, nommed some long grass and then all decided that TW was right and that grub and hay on the strip was much better. She was so impressed! She said I looked lush all shiny and healthy and relaxed again.
After tea i strutted myself up the strip staring and glaring at Mr Boblet as I went. He thought I wanted a stroke. I did not. I was just showing him that there is only one man for TW and it is not him. he called me a barsteward. I did not care. Cos I am the best. Ha!

Day 9 the grass dilemma
Bracky got to TW first this morning - never a good sign. I nipped her as soon as I got close. I wouldnt let her rub my tummy. She got sad and then frustrated so I nommed down my drugs and stomped off biting the others as I went. We got let through into the longer grass by Rusty for half an hour. Tw tatted about with supplements and made the barn nice and wondered and wondered why I was feeling poo again. She even wondered if I would ever get better. That made her sad. eejit.
Eventually she realised what the problem was. Yesterday we only stayed in the barn til dinner time cos she was busy working later on. Bleddy grass. I love the grass. jez loves the grass. brack loves the grass. But the grass is mean to us. It makes my tummy hurt, it makes Brack itch and quite frankly it does nowt for Jezs waistline. Stupid wanky green stuff!!
Anyhoo, she made our grub and put extra equishure in mine. And shouted and shouted and shouted. We ignored her so in the end she had to bring me in with my head-collar. The first time in a long time. It made her stressed cos she knew the battle was going to be on. Fortunately Bee and Jez are so nosy and brought themselves in soon after me. They did not get equishure lol. TW weight taped me and Jez but that is not to be discussed!
We nommed and snoozed all day and had a good natter about random shizzle. When TW came back we got a tiny bit on the longer grass then she tempted us through into the shelter field with some grub. We all had equishure this time. We have very little grass so she gave us extra haynets. This evening i was much happier and relaxed and didnt mind my tummy being stroked. I still gave jez a kicking though. Ha! TW put my rug on before she left cos she says the weather might get crappy again.
As she left we all debated whether she is a good worrier or bad worrier for being a grass meany....we still haven't decided.

Hot day, sore guts
I was lying down when TW arrived at the field. Brack and Jez were stood snoozing together. TW panicked when she saw I was on the floor. She wanted to rush over but she had the dawgs with her so it took a bit of time to dodge the staffiosa. I was mostly fine, just a bit snooozy and I was glad when she took my coat off though.
Today I didn't want all of my drugs so I left the wee bit at the end. teacher Ruth says I can save a bit each day and then every few days we have a spare syringe. Bargain. But TW doesn't really get it so I just have a new one every day. Nobhead. My hind gut is a bit sore today, I stood with my right hind leg forward for a bit but I wasn't bitey or grumpy. I was glad to go in the barn though for a snooze.
I've started back on equishure today. We all did cos TW isn't sure we can be trusted to not share feeds. She dis want me to have some charcoal too but then she read it can't be taken when I'm on meds and can cause blocked guts. I think I would like a polo mint supplement instead.

grumpy detox
It rained all night. Wierd weather. So we ignored the hay and ate the fresh strip of grass we were allowed. As soon as she arrived TW knew it wasn't good. I had my meds nicely and then made lots of attempts to grab stuff. Tw was so confused she gave us brekky when she didn't mean to. Oops!
After her jobs she came and caught me and we set off for a walk. I was grumpy. She was tired. We had planned to go for a hack with the yard peeps but we rescheduled cos TW was awake too early. It was for the best. We did Eric's Block and all I wanted to do was eat detox dandelions. And stay away from the newbies in the field who were very keen on saying hello. I was not in the mood.
all the way round the walk there were loads of fields full of grass. I kept asking TW if we could have one but she said nope. Meany. I got more and more tired and in the end I gave her a huge bite on the arm. I thought she'd get mad and know how grumpy I felt. Bit it only bleddy made her cry! FFS! So i did what Mr Boblet does when she gets like that and ignored her and pretended I wasn't there until she felt less sad. it worked a treat! TW said I had to stretch my legs to help sort my muscle detox out. But it bleddy hurt.
After my walk she had a play with Jez and then we went for snoozes in the barn. When she came back at 6pm I felt much better. I got to put a coat on as bowen lucy had text TW and said the cold rain made me ache. Then we pottered out to the field and got some brekky. Nom! I hope my tummy feels better tomorrow.

Bleating, Bananas and Bowen
TW appeared early doors again. Brack and Jez were impressed and went scuttling over to see her. Me not so much. I hid. Right at the far corner of the field where she had no chance of seeing me. If she could have shit herself I think she would have. Heheheh it was very funny! But then I realised that I might miss out on brekky so came charging down the field. There was no brekky. Touche madame worrier!
To prove I was actually a good boy today I had my drugs loose in the field. She was very impressed. Then we got the brekky. Nom. And off she tootled to do a few jobs. We needed more hay cos we had finished all the nets in the night.
The forecast for the day was shite, Olive's mum had already said she was going to stay in bed drinking gin or something...her and TW chat all the time on the stoopid facebook crap. I'm going to see Olive in the summer though so that's good! TW decided she was feeling brave so she got my tack and we got ready to go. Just for a wee one. I was happy to be touched all over again today and I stood steady as a rock while she got on and didn't even look at her feet at all. That made her happy.
We tootled up the track and then off she popped and we went into the field. Now the sheep field is a pain. The sheep are wankers (says Brack not me) and it's dry stone wall so tricky for fatty worrier to get on easily, she gets her feet all tangled. So being the good boy that I am I stood steady again while she catapaulted at me, landed in the correct place and off we pottered some more. We went up the field, through the sheep up the next field and back down and then did some nice wiggly, circle bits. My straight stops are getting much better. But TW said I was a bit of a banana today. That made her a bit sad. Until she rode Jez too and Jez did the same thing and she realised she's just a crap rider! Pah!! Bracken said that too not me!
Anyhoo, after the riding we did some grazing and then she played with Jez and we went in the barn for a chill. That was lush. We were all just sleeping when bowen Lucy appeared and did some real good treatments. Bowen seems to be good for my tummy. I was soooooo relaxed. Bowen Lucy said I was much better but that might muscles are still full of toxins so I need to do lots of steady walking and rest when I get tired. Sounds good to me. Then the other two had a go, Bee had to have some help for all the aching bones he has from all the shenanigans. Dirty old man! Hehehe.
TW left us alone for a few hours to snooze, we were all so chilled it was great. Bee says that bowen stuff is as good as smoking weed. Feck knows how he knows that though! After that we went out into the rain for our tea and set about grazing. Not a bad day again!

Upside down day 5 and a rest
We stayed out alllll night last night. It was most enjoyable. TW came up bright and early still and we came tearing down the field to see her. But she said it wasn't the time for breakfast. So i refused to let her catch me and she had to ride Jez instead. That sort of back-fired when they had a lovely time, even when I tried to ruin it by shouting, galloping up and down the hedge and shouting some more. Jezey bleddy ignored me! WTF? And TW just told me to feck off.
Anyhoo, breakfast was served in the barn. me and Bee came charging in as usual while madam took her time as she said the mud at the door was scary. I got a gob full of grub before TW could get my drugs in my mouth which resulted in me spitting various bits out. Not sure if TW was more worried about me missing out on precious meds or the cost of the potential wasted potion!! It's a bit dear methinks!
We had a nice day chilling in the barn and nibbling hay. TW popped back around 4.30 and was pleased that I was still looking shiny and happy to have y tummy rubbed all over. Tomorrow I think I have a Lucy bowen visit.

Hack attack
Today was an interesting day. I took my meds like a good boy and then off we all went out into the field for brekky. It was bleddy scorching at 7.30am. Far too hot for the Bee who wanted to hide in the shelter. There was some nice grass to be nommed which is always a bonus!
TW pottered about and then came to catch me. No bother! I had a nice groom and chilled in the sunshine and TW was impressed that I let her groom me all over and did no nipping or grumpy stuff. The Dave man from the yard came along to see us and I tried to ignore him for a bit as I was trying to be a good lad but eventually I gave him some attention. He's not a bad sort but I'm trying really hard to be a one human horse at the moment (well at least when TW is watching).
Anyhoo, then I got my tack on and TW hauled her fat ass onto my back. I stood rock solid. She was so pleased. Then we pootled down to the main yard. I was a bit unsure tbh but we made it down alive. Waiting for us was Twi the racehorse. She makes me chuckle, she's a different kind of girl to Jez i reckon. Jez likes wrestling and squirting and eating (probably like TW says brack but that's a bit rude!) while Twi is a more glamouress lady with a nice line in face pulling and tail swishing. Ha! Girls!!
We set off through the fields and Mr Dave kindly did the big gates, then onto the trail. It's lush on the trail. I even managed to open a few gates myself! TW was so proud!! We did a new hack today down to the canal and then along the river. I really wanted to trot. and really wanted to bite twi's bum to annoy her. TW wouldn't let me do either. Meany!! It's right steep round by us now we are in Derbyshire which apparently is good for me. Hmmm. TW practised teacher Ruth's stuff again today - love the elbows in rule cos I get to have the longest reins ever! Hehehehe. I managed some straight stops though :D We did 90 minutes with absolutely no problem at all although I did have a few sticky moments at the start until I managed to poo.
Back at the yard I had a visit from lovely trimmer Debs who did mine and Jezs tootsies. I was a very good bot. we even got to stay out tonight - TW says we will come in for a few hours in the day from now on to help our tummies and feet.

Day 3 saddle up
TW didnt manage to get to us for 6am...apparently teacher ruth lady had told her that she might have a few hours window to get the drugs into me. So cos she had a few beers last night she arrived just before 9am. With most of her red lippy removed. She's such a freak! I much prefer my copra lipstick.
Anyhoo, she decided to try and give my meds sans headcollar again so I dodged around the barn. Then she said "it's to make your tummy better", so i nommed it down and went out into the field. The others followed. Lovely sunny day! We ate brekky and got grazing while TW pottered about.
Mr Boblet arrived later with the dawgs. I'm not sure about being married and stuff it's wierd. TW has been married before and is now married to Mr Boblet. Jezey said TW must have squirted lots or something. Bleddy girls. Jezey squirts all the time, Bracky quite likes it. It's mostly annoying to me. jezey likes getting her own way. mr Boblet says TW likes getting her own way. He's daft ...she never gets her own way with us.
Today we tried a bit of riding. I wasn't convinced at first as the grass on the new strip was so lovely but TW asked super nice and I thought I'd give it a go. No biting or wind sucking shizzle today. Tack on no bother and TW said I looked so handsome and shiny. We just did 3 times up and down the track and even managed two wee trots. TW was so chuffed. She was practicing the things teacher ruth had taught her and she actually did ok.
after we had done I went back in the field and then later she came back and we all trotted into the barn for tea and a sleep. very nice day.

Day 2 of drugs
TW came up nice and early. My drugs have to be given every 24 hours. Precisely. We are taking bets on how she fares over the weekend with a 6am drug run. Today she thought she would give me the medicine without using a headcollar. And just managed it. I get a feeling she might not be so successful tomorrow....
Anyhoo, it was another sunny one and we got ourselves out with a little help from TW and did some grazing and had brekky (copra, hay nuts) which was nice. I didn't do tail swishing or biting or owt. She was very impressed. Then we marched off to the field near Rusty boy and set about grazing. Nice!
Mid-afternoon she reappeared and we were all stood in the dirty bit nibbling hay and relaxing. Jez wanted a cuddle so I got in the way and had one instead. Then TW went for a lie down in the other field and we all ignored her. She was right miffed! mardy arse. Eventually we stamped through and I stamped over to her. She laughed and told me there was an imaginary bubble protecting her. What a load of shite there was not! I grabbed her coat and chucked it about it. Eventually she stood up. I did some stretching and then OOPS! I stood on her foot as I went to have a good stretch and scratch. Fecking useless bubble you have there hey?
After i returned from my telling off when the bubble miraculously shoved me across the field to scratch on my own I did some more grabbing and chewing on her coat. Brack was most impressed and predicted I might get some new gut supplements soon. TW offered me a walk but tbh I wasn't convinced and the fecker only went out and sat on Jez instead and pootled up the path. I shouted and shouted and shook a hay net but they BOTH bleddy ignored me. Gutted!
TW thinks the grass has made my tummy sore today. On the plus side I think she is buying me a trailer thing and I know she has booked some rides too. We like optimism!! Finally we all had a lovely therapy session with one of her nice clients and helped him do some excellent learning. Then it was tea and bed. very productive.

So I have ulcers
On Tuesday night I stopped over night in a hospital. It was pretty shite. All on my own with no food just a few wood chips to nibble from the floor. Then yesterday I had a tube stuffed up my nose and into my tummy. That was pretty shite too. It made my nose bleed so I snorted it everywhere and it looked like we were in a horror film. Ha!! They found some of the things that make my tummy sore though. So that's a relief! I have grade 2 and 3 ulcers. The nice vet says I could have a biopsy too or a scan as maybe the other end of my guts aren't working so well either. TW said nah to that. Which is fine. I'm glad they're going to make me better.
This morning I had my first dose of meds. It's a syringe thing. Didn't taste so bad. TW laughed cos she said I look the best I have done in ages, I am shiny and relaxed and didn't do any biting today. I have to have the medicine for 28 days and then go back and get my tummy re-looked at. Not quite so sure about that. TW is worrying cos she thinks the medicine might make my hind gut sore so no doubt I will have some new foods to try.
The good thing is I can still go hacking and stuff if TW ever has time to do owt.
Today I have grass and hay to eat and had some copra and hay nuts. No supplements.

sunny lesson
We've been chilling a lot again recently. It's been nice. But a bit boring. On the plus side the weather has started to get sunnier. It was baltic today but nice and bright.
After she mucked out today TW sat in the field and enjoyed the sunshine. I marched across the field towards her. That made her smile. So I bit her leg. She wasn't so keen on that. Wierdo. I had some scratches and cuddles and TW bossed me about a bit. Then Jez wanted to join in so I ran her off and bit her too. TW didn't like that.
After some more chilling TW and Jez had a play on the track and pootled about bareback. Me and Bee shouted and tried to put Jez off but she ignored us. Then it was my turn. TW did some brushing, I tried to bite her but she got mardy. Then my tack was on. And Ruth appeared. Ewwww lesson time!
I worked hard today. I need to be less wibbly wobbly and TW has to make sure she helps me. We practiced up and down and round the drive, started and stopping. Then we did a bit on the ground. I'm such a good boy. TW meh she's not so good but hopefully she will get better.
We had a lovely say sunbathing and then TW shouted us for bed and off we cantered into the barn. Lovely hay.

cu next tuesday
yesterday was a rest day.
Today was a business day - trimmer and physio on an icy cold but sunny day.
jez went first with Trimmer Debs. She was being a bit of a nelly and stamped on TD's tootsie and made her say a big feck word. TW said she preferred the C word (don't we know it!). Disgraceful!
Then it was my turn so I decided to be a super good boy and show Jez how it was done. TD was really impressed but TW wasn't that focused. So I chewed her coat and nudged her a bit and then to make a point I kicked her. In the C word. She was shocked. TD was in stitches. I remained nonchalant.
In the afternoon she came back and had a poddle on Jez. She was a very good girl and TW was pleased. I needed a big groom but the physio lady came early so we both had our treatments. It was very nice. I need to build up my quads and Jez needs her toofy-pegs filing. TW then tried to get us in the barn and we fecked about quite alot again. Cu next tuesday!

Out
Today is Sunday. TW was up surprisingly early, chucked us out and sorted the barn. Then fed us a huge bowl of grub. Nom. She kept muttering something about going out.
Anyhoo, after grub I had some grooming. She wouldn't let me bite her back though. Jez and bee stood the other side of the fence grooming too. Total groomathon. Then I was allowed to mooch about and graze. Awesome.
Down the drive I noticed all of my tack was in the carpark. Wierd. Next thing a trailer appeared and me and the Ginge got on and off we went! Who'd have thought it? TW was impressed with my loading. Not so much with me and the Ninge nipping each other before we set off. pah!!
When we got off it was Shipley Park. Nice. Nibble of grass and hay and tack on. Off we went. Me, the ginge and a big ginge called Charlie. Marching on it was lovely.
We passed walkers and dog runners, traffic and houses, fricking scary ponies and even PIGS! I really hated the shitland. We were following blue arrows, I tried to make sure I stayed at the front as much as I could and TW thought I was very brave. I had to walk and trot off on my own at one point while the Gingers held back so they could have a big canter. And then later on I turned left while the boys turned right to do the long route. I shouted a bit but marched along nicely while TW sang to me. Awful. Towards the end TW got off cos she knew I didn't fancy walking past the zip wire. it was nice to cool off.
back at the trailer I nommed some grass and chatted to some old friends then it was back to the field. My dudes had missed me. It was such a lovely sunny day with some great boys. Then it got cold and started snowing so TW missed her nap and came and put us in he barn. Excellent.

brave
TW was shattered when she arrived at the yard this morning. Shattered and freezing. She's very fat you see so is trying to exercise more in the mornings. I don't think it's going so well...
Anyhoo, we went out in the field and found the sunshine. Then we had some grub. Lovely. Bracky and jez found some new sunshine and TW said we were off out. Excellent. Fuzy passed us but W said we didn't have time to ride with him today.
Tack on and treats in pocket and off we went. TW said we would walk to the top of the drive and take it from there. But there were some scary black bin bags on the drive. They took some getting past I can tell you. I did a wee bit of running about but we got there eventually. Up to the op of the drive and I felt brave and so did TW. So we turned left and I stomped up the road. TW was so pleased.
As we got nearer the turn off TW could see there was a van that wasn't there before. she tensed a bit. And looked behind her. And saw the bleddy huge wagon that was there. The wagon man stopped when TW waved at him and waited til we turned off the road and the nice council men turned off their engine when they saw us. That made TW relax. We strolled round, dodging bin bags and dog walkers and then when we got to the downhill it TW jumped off as it was a bit slippy.
We walked together down the track and then up the road. TW was a bit slow so every so often i bit the back of her knees to speed her up. I think she liked that. Back at the field I did some sun-bathing and Jez had a lesson. When TW came back in the afternoon she wanted some cuddles. Jezey wanted to chase Luna . So cuddles were limited. So glad it was sunny.

striding out
In the last week or so we have mostly been eating hay and going for walks in hand with TW. It's been nice getting out and about , I reckon there is some good hacking to be had near us.
Today was different. TW was feeling super lazy and really couldn't be arsed. She chucked us out and mucked us out and gave us a bucket of chaff each to eat in the slightly less muddy mud. Nom. Then she had a burst of energy and hauled me and in and brushed my crusty mud off. Jez and Bee were disgusted!
Then came the tack, all good. It was bleddy windy again. TW had a big purple sparkly wand. I suggested she put it away. And she did. very good. On she got and I did a good Jez impression and tried to whizz up the track but TW said no. So we sauntered to the gate and I was allowed to nibble some grass. NOM.
Holy mother off god! A ginger thing appeared. Hacking in company? Me? I will have a bit of that action. Off we went up the drive. TW said we will see how he goes and if I need to I will get off. Feck that. Right on the road and up to a place I've never been before. I did some super stomping. TW was so pleased. I did no spooking or silliness or owt. Went in front sometimes but mostly me and the rusty boy were side by side. He did almost try to bite my ass on one occassion which scared TW as she didn't see and thought for a minute I was going to buck! As if!!
We did the whole loop in about 30mins, TW was impressed. Back in the field I rolled and rolled just to make her worry a wee bit. Then in the afternoon Jez and Tw walked together round the loop. It was blowing a gale but they could still hear me screaming my head off for the whole hour they were out! Ha!

Ha!

quiet
We've had a quiet couple of days. The weather is uber windy and today we spent most of the day in the barn because there was meant to be tons of rain. It never came though. We've gone off the hay a bit which is worrying TW and also making her slightly irritated as she says it's not free! Today she put some nice clean straw down so I ate alot of that. NOm.
TW and I had a teeny pootle up and down just as the wind picked up and that was about the sum total of excitement. I can't wait for some dry weather and lighter mornings.

bananas and weaves
I had hoped for a ride today. TW had other ideas. She had a lie in til nearly 8am!! Bar-steward and decided she had stuff to do today so chucked us out, mucked us out and fed us. That was all. Boooo! She managed to force Jez out the barn faster today so that was good. Jez is very stubborn I've noticed.
TW came back mid afternoon and Jez got to her first. We had high hopes for treats. She bought bananas. Frankie likes bananas she said. Nom nom. We gobbled em in. And spat em out. Fooking disgusting.
Anyhoo, she got out some fence posts and started putting em up. We followed her along. Bracky did some weaving in and out. She was impressed. So Jez weaved too. I did not. I stood behind her and pulled her hood. Apparently hanging is not the done thing on a Sunday. Then we all got in a line and did the conga behind her up the field. She liked that two. Then we galloped and bucked and skidded. She wasn't so keen on that.
She then did the tape. I was on one side, Jez on the other. So bracky went with jez. TW put him back. He went back to Jez. I looked sad but TW said to ignore them cos they were eejits and I was a good boy. At the bottom Bracky figured it out and let her pop him through. Jez on the other hand just stood admiring the view. In the end TW resorted to shoving her bottom again and we were all on the correct side. Thank feck.
For being lovely ponies TW made us copra and chaff for tea in the barn and we all settled down for a good nom. Excellent!

relaxed
Jezey didn't want to come out of the barn again this morning. I shouted and shouted but she bleddy ignored me. I couldn't believe it! The monkey mooched about until TW climbs up the hay bales and then stands waiting for her to tipple them in from the roof. Cheeky bogger.
Eventually I gave up shouting and went marching in to get her. Just as she was pootling out. We stood nose to nose on the corridor - we were both wedged in. TW went mental and made me back out. Which I did. But Jez still wouldnt come out. So i went back in. TW had a breakdown. W felt bad and eventually sorted ourselves out. It was worth it cos then she came round to the other field and fed us. NOM!!!
Next TW decided to catch me. So I walked off. She stood mouth open. I marched up the field with the duded in a line behind me. She laughed. Then realised 2016 is a strict year so she slipped up the field. So I walked off again. And again. Then I got bored and got my headcollar on and strolled out of the field. Up the drive. Nice and relaxed. Onto the road. No bother. TW was so happy. We dondered down the road all the way to the bridlepath and went a wee way down. I'd never been there before. Then we dondered back. Most excellent.
Then it was Jezeys turn. She was gone for ages. And was most sweaty when she got back. TW was very pleased with both of us. I even gave her some nice kisses over the gate. We spent the day chilling in the sunshine and then lined up by the barn patiently waiting for TW to return. Not a bad day.

chilly
Jez didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Cheeky bugger. Me and Bee strolled out to the field while Jezey-plum loitered with intent in the barn and waited for the hay to arrive. TW put some hay in the field too and eventually Jez popped back out to join us.
It was a bleddy cold day today but we weren't so fussed about the field hay apart from Bee that is. We mooched about a bit and did some nosying. There's always lots to see from our field.
TW popped back about 1pm and was surprised that we weren't by the gate. She crunched across the field and saw Jez and Bee but couldnt find me! I was hiding near the scrappy bits. TW had a panic and thought I had hurt myself and got stuck. But I was just sleeping.
We trooped out and I got my tack on. TW is being really strict at the moment I must say. No nonsense. She had the wand out! Today we snorted up the drive to the road and along the track to the gate. I was a good boy. Jezey shouted me! What a nob!
Then TW went to get Jez, Bee fancied a walk but she said she hadn't got time. What a meany! They did the same pootle as me but had a tiny trot too. I shouted Jez lots. Then we went to the barn and settled down with hay and warm straw cos TW is working late again. she is spending some hay money this month!

Trouble
It was darn but no so cold when TW arrived today. We mooched about the barn a bit but TW made us leave. Poo! She spent ages mucking out and then put down some nice clean straw and some hay for us. Then she pootled round to the field.
Obviously I thought my luck was in but she only wanted to play with Jezey. Meany. I bit Jez as she left the field and tried to untie her when she was getting ready but nowt worked. She tacked her up and off they went down the track. I shouted a bit. Got ignored. Galloped about a bit. Again didn't get much of a reaction.
They went through the gate and Jez was a good girl and let TW clamber on straight away. Gah! off the strolled nice and relaxed. So I shouted and shouted and shouted. Aha! Jez got nappy. I shouted some more and galloped up the field so i was close as close could be.
On they went, TW wiggling her fairy wand every now and again. Jez was torn. I shouted some more. Up the first field and up the second. TW stopped her every time she tried to spin. Impressive. But Jez had a secret. At the very last minute she jumped in the air! And bucked!! Holy feck just where I had bucked TW off. I couldn't believe it.
TW was shocked I could tell. She jumped off and only gave jez a smack with the wand! OMFG! And they bleddy carried on walking. Through the double gates and up the next field. Then TW popped back on and they started walking back. I shouted some more and Jezey got jiggly and napped at the gate. TW wanded her again! Holy cow! Jumped off through the gates, down the field and bleddy got back on AGAIN!! Through the final field TW held the cordura tight and Jez walked nicely like a good girl. GAH! Foiled. Must try harder. TW said lots of bad words to me.
The barn was open today so we took ourselves in and trashed the hay instead of sun bathing. TW came and locked us in mid afternoon cos she had to work late. I hope a bale each is enough to last til morning.

in hand
Another day mooching about in the field. well we maybe sneaked back in the barn for a wee while too. Just don't tell TW.
It was nice and sunny when she arrived this afternoon. She really wanted to ride. I really wanted to go out. Jez really wanted to go out. TW was overcome by good catholic guilt and didn't know who to ride. So she took us all for a walk in hand, one at a time. Including the Bee man. WTF?
I had a stroll up the drive, along a bit of the road and along the track. It was nice. We would have gone further but TW hadn't got any hi-viz with her. Then we ate some grass nuts and went to the barn. And got busted cos TW saw the fresh poo and trashed hay bales! Oops!

busted and carrot dance
Lazy TW didn't arrive until just after 9am today. She said she had been working but I also know she hadn't been for a run. Lazy ass. Anyhoo we were all chilling when she arrived and just pottered off up the field to wait for breakfast. Which fair enough arrived a wee while later. The wierd collie started barking at me while I was waiting for the grub. I thought about stamping on it but just glared at it instead. Dog kicking is Bracky's thing not mine.
There was no riding today. Crap. So we mooched about all day in the mud nibbling at grass and nosying at walkers. TW arrived back at the yard just after 6pm. It was dark. And cold. So she popped the lights on and made her way into the barn.
She knew something was wrong as soon as she stepped in. She slowly turned around. and burst out laughing. Me and jez were stood in the barn munching away quite happily, I have no idea what the problem was. We got bored of waiting!
Off she tootled in a panic thinking Bee was though the fence. She shouted and shouted and shouted. And then realised he was stood in the shadows right next to her. And then he scuttled off! She slipped and slid after him and then said the magic word "carrots" . And lo and behold the Brack was caught and ready to come in. But we had heard the carrot chat and promptly made our way out of the bar. TW was mad! Hahahahah.
We danced about a bit and eventually we were all where we were meant to be. TW vanished. I hope we have enough hay to last the night, we ate quite a bit!

Saturday and Sunday
Yesterday was Saturday. TW didn't know what to do, there was no-one to ride with and she wasn't sure if the roads were slippy. She thought the best course of action was some in-hand walking.
So after she turned us out she faffed around rummaging in the tractor and couldn't find the big lead rope. So she put on my headcollar and tied me to the gate with a rope halter. She was very impressed I was a good lad. I was mostly confused. She then rummaged some more, got my tack out and put my stirrups on the saddle. WTF? Got her hat on and tacked me up. Wee wierdo. Oh and out her straight jacket on that Boblet got her for Xmas.
On she popped and I was good some more. Despite having a bit . Gah! We trundled down the track and I was good. She was happy. At the gate she popped off. OMFG. Through the gate and by the wall. I was good. She got on. And snorty snorty nice and relaxed we walked up the field.
At the end of the first field we turned round and TW got off. No bucking around today she said. Eejit. As if I would! And we pootled down together with me only occasionally trying to nibble grass. TW was proud, it was the first trip into the field since September when I nearly broke her and she got sad and wanted to give up.
Next it was Jezeys turn. The field was hard and Jezey didnt like the ruts. her and TW had a right battle getting out of the field and Jez got some smacks. So to pay TW back she nipped her when she was girthing her up and for the first time ever moved when TW got on. And she took a good time to allow TW back on when they went into the field too! It was Jezeys first time in the field. I shouted and shouted to TW to come back and get me instead but off they went. Up TWO fields and back. Jezey was super good. Cow bag! I'm sure it must be Bracky's turn too!
Today was Sunday. It had snowed overnight. We did not want to leave Hotel Barn. TW was once again mortified - in the end she had to chase us out. We had hay in the field and in the afternoon we had a carrot and back to bed. Me and Bee in the back today. Nom.

Nip
Evening, sorry I've been away for a few days. TW borrowed my charger and forgot to bring it back so I have been sans technology for a wee while. WE've been chilling in the field and munching the night away in the barn. TW has been coming up early and lovely Fran has been bringing us in while TW works to pay for more hay.
Anyhoo, it was baltic this morning. TW was up early and chucked us out. Well me and Bee went out and Jezey mooched about giving TW hugs and nibbling on my leftover hay. She then went and stood at the top of the field and demanded feeding. Which she got. Humph!
I hoped we might get a wee pootle this morning as it was a lovely sunny day but no chance. Poo!
TW came back after work and it was super baltic. She was worried cos we hadn't eaten the hay she had left in the field and didn't come when she shouted us. Eventually she crunched up the field and we were stood pretty much where she had left us first thing! TW was worried that we had been paralysed by the frozen ground. Brack was keen to come in so TW held his headcollar and they pottered down the field together.I followed. Jez straggled behind.
I could hear TW chatting to Bee and saying nice things to him. So I scuttled behind them and BIT HIM! HA!!! My TW not his! He moved and I followed her in to the barn. She was not best pleased.
When we got into the barn I walked into Brack and jezeys bit and had a big poo. Then i walked back into my bit. TW was mortified. I thought it was quite funny. She came and sat on a slice of hay while I munched so I did my best to eat the hay she was sitting on rather than the rest of the bale. That was fun too. Couldn't shift her fat ass though. I gave her a half kiss half nip a few times and then she bogged off. Hope its dry tomorrow.

poo and 4 bales
TW got up nice and early and wrapped herself up in her hat and gloves expecting a nice chilly dry morning. But it wasn't. It was pishy and muddy again. So she did a good trick. INstead of coming round to let us out she bought hay round in the barrow. Aaaargh!!! Decision made. We all agreed to stay in for the day and TW was happy. Nom.
In the day the sun came out and TW felt slightly guilty about the staying in the barn day. She came back up late afternoon and chucked us out for a quick mooch. Bracky and Jez couldn't wait to get out but I wasn't so convinced but there was grazing to be had. Nom nom.
All of a sudden we spotted TW out of the corner of our eyes, she had feed buckets in her hand so we cantered and slipped and slid to the gate and waited nicely. She put the supplements in the buckets and began to walk off. Holy shit! We panicked and ran to the place where we get our food. She kept walking. WTF? a few minutes later we heard shouting from the barn. It must have been a trick. We stayed put. She shouted and shouted and shouted. And then eventually she slipped and slid up the field until she could see us. She shouted and waved. we crept forward a wee bit. Bracky got ready to run but she nabbed him with a treat, hung onto his headcollar and the pair of them mud skied to the barn with me and the Belle running behind shouting. Grub in the barn! awesome.
Mid grub the vet arrived. He needed poo, I wasn't keen. TW walking to see what I could do. I shouted and shouted and shouted. But no poo. So the vet made a poo cocktail from a slightly less fresh poo. It was fascinating. I wondered if I should eat it or something but apparently not. Anyhoo, the poo cocktail said I don't have ulcers. TW was pleased and started making endurance plans already.
By the way, we've munched through 4 bales of hay today. Ain't we lucky? Tw and the vet talked about osteopath treatments, TW said when we aren't so hungry

early and late
OMG TW was an early bird this morning. Seriously after a few lie ins it was a real shock to the system. We had a few treats and then she opened the doors. We weren't particularly motivated. eventually we all trooped out and huddled together and went back to sleep.
There was not afternoon riding today. Gutted. She eventually bowled back up just after 6pm. It was bleddy baltic. And very very dark. Clever TW stood in the barn door way and gave us a few shouts. Then she heard the sloshing of mud and in we came. TW was very impressed, especially as normally I am a tad reluctant to pootle in unaccompanied. We were so hungry we barely acknowledged TW leaving.

further
TW didn't arrive til after 8am this morning. We were not impressed so when she opened the doors we just marched out without even acknowledging her. Obviously when she fed us in the field we were slightly more keen on her. No copra today but we got treats in our bowls. That caused a few kerfuffles.
She was meant to be hacking Jezey out today but I was very pleased to see that she hadn't got time cos she was doing a court report or something. Bonus. Jezey went and sulked on her own when she realised. While I stood waiting for the Arabs to come past without Jezey. I did a very good dragon impression when I saw them, Missey was especially impressed.
TW bowled up mid afternoon again and we were stood at the gate waiting for her. Me first!! It was great fun watching her huffing and puffing swapping stirrups over from Jezeys saddle to mine. Now a sensible person might suggest why not ride Jez first but TW knows that is not sensible.
When I got my tack on I got a treat and then we were off. Today we walked down to the carpark then back along to the gate and back. A bit snorty but no spooking or napping and strolling along on a nice long rein in my flower hackamore. TW was pleased. Slow and steady she says is the name of the game. I like it when she is pleased with me.
Then Jezey had her go. Jezey has a bit and a magic wand to stop her doing her spinning trick. TWwas super sharp at catching her today. Even with me shouting they pootled up the drive to the main road and then along the track to the gate. TW was pleased again. She sand some nice songs about Jezey Plum and the man with the barky collie chuckled to himself but said he didn't mind the racket.
Next we had a few treats and then it was barn time. Bracky was disgusted as it was only 3pm so TW gave us another treat when we were all tucked up. Not a bad few days. I'll have a few days off now as TW is busy. But I know she has booked a pleasure ride for Valentine's day....I wonder who she will take?

But I know she has booked a pleasure ride for Valentine's day....I wonder who she will take?

decisions
When TW arrived at the yard I was not impressed.I stood grumpily by the wall instead of going to the gate. TW was obviously worried. She thought it might be a good idea for us to stay in today as the weather was shite and the field was a bog but Jez and Brack were not convinced. In the end she opened all the gates and left us to decide while she went to get hay. We all promptly scarpered.
After a few minutes the rain started and we all started to creep back to the barn. Brack first. TW shouted us and said there was fresh hay. so we crept a bit closer. She walked towards us and make a grab for Bracks headcollar. So we all ran off. TW gave up.
Fortunately she gave us some grub in the field, today we had copra too. We are getting much better at not crowding round her. She was impressed. I love the copra. NOm. The bad rain didn't come and it even got a bit sunny!
TW reappeared mid afternoon and we had another teeny pootle to the gate and back. She was a bit happier with my saddle today and this time I wore my lovely pink bitless bridle. I was nice and relaxed. Then it was back in the field while Jezey had a turn. My best part of the day was when TW said "piss off Bracken or you'll get ridden next" - he quite likes the challenge I think. Then it was down to the barn to settle in for some hay eating.

Starters
It was muddy, grubby , sludgy this morning. TW was a tired bean when she arrived and just chucked us out and left us to it. Then she realised that we hadn't eaten all of our hay so she chucked that out in the field. But it was a bit shitty so we didn't bother.
Mid morning it was baltic and looked like snow. Then the sun came out. Such wierd weather. TW re-appeared mid afternoon and the first thing she did was feed us. Nom. She was very impressed that we mostly got out of her way and waited for the grub.
Then I went and stood nicely by the gate and gazed at TW while she wrestled with stirrups and saddles. It was fascinating. Then she got me out , gave me a quick brush and tacked me up. WTF? we had a few girth issues but TW says it must be the girth straps on the new saddle not my tummy. She is correct!she also says that the saddle needs checking now we are back in work. Oh feck! That's never a good sign.
Anyhoo, she tacked me up and popped on board. That was fun, she says i feel huge compared to Jezey. heheheh dafty. So when she was on I turned round as requested and then planted my feet. So TW shouted at me. So I pootled on down the bridlepath like a very good boy. TW was super pleased.
At the end we stopped and posed for a few pics and then pootled back. Well we argued back as I was a bit jiggy joggy and TW was not. I just wanted to get back to my dudes. Back at the field TW was so pleased with me that she popped off (long way down she said) and took my saddle off. and my bridle. So I ran off and tried to break into the tumeric tub. TW was not impressed.Pah!
She chucked me back in the field and then got the barn ready. Then shouted and shouted and shouted for us to come to the barn. But we couldn't. We stood nicely in the first field and waited for TW to slip and slide her way up the second field. And when she arrived we followed her nicely to the barn. And then had a big dance about while TW tried to get two ponies in the back barn and one in the front. My god she said some bad words. Bracken and Jez left the barn a few times and I stood and tried to eat both bales of hay. In the end reinforcements came and we were finally placed in the correct lobster pot. Gah!
